Automatic weekly position capture

HarborOS now records where renewals, pipeline, and the forecast stood every week, on its own. "What changed?" stops being an afternoon of spreadsheet diffing and becomes a query.

"What changed this week?" is the most reasonable question a CEO can ask, and historically the most expensive to answer — because no system stored what you believed last week. The CRM knows the deal exists today, not that you thought it was dead on Monday. Answering meant diffing Forecast_v4_FINAL.xlsx by eye and excavating the why from old Slack threads. This release closes that gap by default: the position is captured for you, every week, without anyone deciding to.

Added
  • Scheduled weekly capture — renewal posture, weighted pipeline, and the composed forecast are snapshotted automatically each week and locked Friday. No one has to remember to save a clean copy; the week you believed something is the week it was recorded.
  • Comparison on demand — diff any two weekly positions against their frozen payloads, never live tables. The comparison already exists the moment the question is asked, so "what changed?" is a query rather than a reconstruction.
  • Variance lineage by contract — movement resolves to the specific renewal, deal, or close-date slip that drove it, not just a delta on an aggregate.
Changed
  • Manual ad-hoc snapshots remain available, but are no longer the only record — the scheduled capture is now the baseline every org gets without configuration.

Automatic weekly capture is the default that closes the gap described in our note on the subject. Explore Compass →
